The story of our Holiday Cottages at Lake Saimaa

Providing Finnish and international visitors an unforgettable stay in our Traditional Finnish cottages at Lake Saimaa in Puumala – that is what our family has been doing since the 1970s. We are committed to offering every visitor an unforgettable stay and letting our guests experience the beautiful things that nature and the lakes have to offer. Already since the very beginning, we believe in creating a unique experience that combines the beauty of Finnish nature with the comforts of home for our guests.

After the fourth generation has taken over the family cottage business in 2022, the cottage rental company is continued under the name Ukonhonka. Ukonhonka currently offers three traditional Finnish cottages in Puumala area and one guest house located in the town center of Puumala.
